My Chili Recipe!

Ok this is incredibly simple to make and the best part about it is 2 cups of this chili is 300 calories! Loaded with protein and veggies … it’s spicy and delicious. If you have a sensitivity to spicy foods maybe use less or no Jalapeno.

Ingredients:

2 cans black beans Drained

1 can Kidney beans Drained

2 large cans Diced tomatoes

1 Large  red onion Diced

2 bell peppers Diced

3-4 gloves fresh Garlic Diced

1 large or 2 small jalapenos Diced

1lb Lean Ground turkey

Olive oil

Garlic Powder, Onion  Powder, Salt, Pepper, Cumin, Smoked Paprika, Chili Powder

Cholula Hot Sauce (optional)

As far as pulling it together I like to cook up the turkey, peppers, onion, garlic, and jalapenos a bit first adding some of the seasonings. from here you can add the beans and tomatoes and let sit on low for a few hours adjusting the seasoning to taste.. Or you can slide it all in the crock pot. As for the seasonings I would start with about a teaspoon of each and work your way up to what you like. I also add about a tablespoon of Cholula Hot sauce right about near the end.This also freezes well! Enjoy and let me know what you think of it.
